2. Access Connections and More Connection Settings
Locate the “Connections” option in the settings menu and select it. This option may be labeled differently based on your Samsung mobile’s model, but it should resemble “Connections” or “Network & Internet.”
3. Open Private DNS
Under the “Connections” section, you’ll find the “Private DNS” option. Tap on it to access the private DNS settings. This feature enables you to use a custom DNS server, which is vital for effective ad-blocking.
4. Enable and Enter the Custom DNS Address
In the “Private DNS” settings, choose “Custom DNS.” You’ll be prompted to input a custom DNS address.
5. Enter “DNS.ADGUARD.COM” and Save
Input “DNS.ADGUARD.COM” (without quotes) as the custom DNS address. After entering the address, tap “Save” to apply the changes.
Enjoy an ad-free experience: The changes will take effect immediately after saving the custom DNS address. You’ll no longer be bothered by ads on Jio Cinema, Jio TV, MX Player, or any other app you use on your Samsung mobile.

For Samsung Smart TV users, here are the steps:
- Access your Samsung Smart TV’s settings and select “Network & Internet.”
- Tap on “Wi-Fi” and choose your connected network.
- Select “Advanced” and then “DNS.”
- Input the following custom DNS addresses:
- For AdGuard DNS: 176.103.130.130 and 176.103.130.131
- For NextDNS: 2606:4700:4000::6446 and 2606:4700:4000::6447
- Tap “Save,” and you’re all set!
